 You will be personally welcomed at Le Maine Menot as you will be able to count on our service right from the very start. Peter and Cora take care of and manage the house as well as keep it clean. They will be the first to approach you at Le Maine Menot and speak excellent English as well as some other languages. When necessary, someone arrives to maintain the swimming pool or to cut the grass. Because of the size of the house and all of the modern facilities, you are expected to attend the 1 hour introduction. Lastly, the welcome map is worth a good look, it will help make your stay much more relaxing and enjoyable.

 St. Paul de Lizonne is a little town 10 minutes further. It houses Le Coquelicot, a great restaurant with menus starting at 14 Euros and a la carte dishes. In the summer time great evenings are organized here with live music on the terraces, a great atmosphere! Moreover, there are great bars around with delicious draught beer. They are, however, shut on Mondays and Sundays. For lunch or dinner it is best to call one day ahead of time and make a reservation under the name Le Maine Menot. Their number is (0033 0) 553-916924. The drive there is quite simple, drive towards Pallauad and take a sharp left after the gas station Yonnent. Follow the signs too St Paul de Lizonne and you will find a sign to the restaurant on your left hand side just outside the town.
Another great choice is Restaurant Tourbieres. In a quite location in the middle of the forest lies this restaurant, right by a nature reservation and fishing lakes. A simple but delicious menu starting at 11 Euros will suffice everyone including your children. The ambiance and location is what make it a true celebration.
